How does it work?

It's easy! First, purchase your digital videos for the Model Me Kids® iPad app through the our website digital shopping cart. Then download the free Model Me Kids® app in the iTunes store.

After your order is placed, you will receive an email with license code(s) for your purchase. Enter the license code(s) into the app and the videos will download onto your iPad.

What products are available in the app?

All of our DVDs, a total of 12, are available as digital videos that play in the Model Me Kids® app.

What do you need?

- iPad. The digital videos play only in our iPad app. Not available for iPhone, desktop/computer, or Android.
- Version 7.0 iOS and above
- Internet connection for initial download of app and videos. Video files range in size. The faster the wifi, the quicker the download.
- License code(s) to enter into the app. License codes allow you to download the videos. License codes are obtained through purchase of digital products from the Model Me Kids online digital shopping cart or by submitting a school Purchase Order.

License (Digital Products)

Digital products for use in the Model Me Kids® app come with a two-device license and two-years of iOS updates.

How it Works

Each digital video purchased comes with a unique license code. You may use each license code on up to two iPads. A license code is linked to the unique iPad on which it is used. License codes are not transferrable between iPads.

We recommend keeping one of the license codes uses as a backup in case you replace your iPad or it breaks. You may then use the backup (second) use of the license code on your new iPad to download the videos you purchased.

iOS Updates: The app will work in the current Apple iOS operating system when a digital purchase is made. When there are updates to the iOS operating system, the app may no longer be compatible. Your purchase comes with iOS updates for two years from the date of purchase. Beyond two years, Model Me Kids, LLC, in its sole discretion, will update the app for compatibility with future ios systems released by Apple.

Can I purchase the videos in the iTunes store?

Digital videos for the Model Me Kids® app are available only through our website shopping cart.

Are your software and books available for the app?

The Model Me Interactive Software is only available as a CD and may purchased through our website. Our teaching manuals and student workbooks are available only in print.

Do I need wifi?

Wifi is needed to get the app, create a login, and for the initial download of your videos. Once the content is downloaded, it is stored on your iPad and doesn’t require wifi unless you delete the videos and then want to download them again. This way, the videos can be played any time, anywhere, without the need for wifi access.

Can I use a purchase order to purchase digital downloads for the app?

Yes, you may use a school purchase order (U.S. or Canada schools).  Please be sure to include an email address in your purchase order. We will email the license code(s) for your purchase to enter in the Model Me Kids® app which will enable you to download your videos.

Are the DVDs and app versions of the videos the same?

Run times of some of the digital videos for the Model Me Kids® app are different than our DVDs. This is because some of our DVDs show a narrated version of the video in the first half, and then the same video is repeated without narration at the end of the DVD. In order to save iPad space, the repeated unnarrated part of any video is not included in the digital version. Otherwise, the videos are exactly the same.
